WitTEA

I cannot think of a witty title hence the title. Besides I think milk tea can make you witty! So drink your milk tea kids!

This is a post about: TEA

First off: Serenitea

The tea place that started it all. I tried it first at RP Manila, and being used to cheaper milk teas. I've only ever tried Simple Line which is priced at the 45-55 range, Happy Fanshu, and Chatime which I tried in HK so I didn't know the price. Anyhooo, it was more expensive than the usual so I expected more. This was where my love affair with wintermelon tea started so it will always hold a special place in my heart. Their Okinawa milk tea is yum, as well as the wintermelon milk tea. Service was good, the people at the counter are nice and helpful they don't pressure you. The queue was long and there are lots of people but its good that they have seats. They have service water for when you get umay with the sweetness. They serve snacks too! I heard that the chicken chops (?) was good. Will try them the next time 'round. The Serenitea branches that I know of are in Greenhills, RP Manila.

Chatime

As I've said earlier I first tried Chatime at HK, and to be honest it didn't blow me away. I tried it once again in Gateway. I ordered the chocolate mousse which was nice but not exactly memorable. Chatime has a wide variety of drinks though which I am excited to try in the future. The wait was long, but was made bearable by watching the people there make the tea. I also loved the thing they give you to inform you if your order was up.

Gong Cha

Ahh, Gong Cha, why do you make me love you so much? I LOVE Gong Cha, and was thrilled when I learned that they opened in RP Manila ( I used to go to MOA to buy). Their Gong Cha Milk Wintermelon Tea is LOVE. I love the milk on top I sip it first before mixing it into the wintermelon tea which is just the right amount of sweetness.

Happy Lemon

I was excited to try because of the hype surrounding it so when we went to GH I made it a point that we try. Love the Choco Mousse. The fruit drinks are unique but I would stick to the teas. In the future I wanna try their Oreo Milk Tea which comes highly recommended by friends.
