Hong Kong: Disneyland

First of all introducing a HK essential: The Octopus Card used in MTRs, and various establishments in HK. Cash free, hassle free transactions anytime, everywhere.

And a random shot of HK dollars.

Onwards to The Happiest Place on Earth

The thing about Disneyland is, it makes you want to believe in Magic. It's just so whimsical that it carries you away.

We arrived in Disneyland just minutes before the parade was about to start. We watched it from Main Street USA.

The rides weren't as thrilling as Ocean Park but that was fine with me since I'm really not a big fan of heart stopping rides. But once you're here you must ride It's A Small World a Disney classic.

Why, hi Thailand who would've known I'll be seeing you in person too.

We only had the afternoon to explore the park and in that time we managed to:

  • Watch the Lion King show
  • Ride the raft to Tarzan's house
  • Ride the train around the park
  • Watch the parade
  • Explore Tarzan's treehouse
  • Ride the river? jungle? ride (special effects like show equivalent to Universal Studios Jurrasic Park attraction without the elevator and the drop)
  • Ride Space Mountain
  • Ride It's A Small World
  • Shop at the souvenir store
  • Take pictures at tomorrowland
  • Watch them lighting up the castle
  • Watch the fireworks
Disappointed I didn't try the food. So hoping that on my next trip there I would get the chance to do so.
